WALK THE WALK
The Sons of Italy Lodge of Southern
Colorado is a recognized leader in the Pueblo community because of its many
successful projects such as the Scholarship Awards Dinner which has generated
almost $150,000 worth of Scholarships to worthy students, the Italian language
programs in all the high schools, the continual ceremony at the Columbus
Monument for over 106 years, a dinner with entertainment,
and
most importantly having the Columbus Monument placed on the NATIONAL
REGISTRY OF HISTORIC PLACES.
HOWEVER, these events don’t just happen without a lot of time
and energy spent by lodge brothers, and most of the work has been by the same
members every year. You all have a special talent that can be given on behalf of
the organization. For every skill you possess, there is a need here at the Sons
of Italy Lodge. Somewhere on this list of committees is something that makes you
say,
